The UAE government has created new visas and permits for people to come and stay in the country. They have also made it easier for more people to be eligible for Golden Visas. One thing is the green visa in the UAE. The Green visa in UAE is a special type of visa that allows you to sponsor yourself for 5 years. You can get a visa without needing a citizen or employer from the UAE to sponsor you. This visa is for people who are good at their job, work for themselves, invest money, or own a business and want to live and work in the country.

Green Visa UAE Eligibility
To get the UAE green visa, you must meet these rules:
Experienced workers
- If you want a green card for skilled workers, you need to have a job in the UAE and a valid work contract.
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation says you must have a job at a specific level.
- You need to have a bachelor’s degree or something similar.
- You must make at least 15,000 AED each month.
Freelancers and Self-Employed
- You’re allowed to work for yourself by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
- Proof of being self-employed, such as licenses, tax documents, and business receipts.
- To be eligible, you need to have a bachelor’s degree or a specialized diploma.
- You need to have earned at least AED 360,000 from your business every year for the past two years.
- You must prove that you have enough money or can support yourself financially when you are in the UAE.

How To Apply For UAE Green Visa?
To get a UAE green card for you or your family, first ask for permission for them to come to the country.
Here is how to apply for your green visa:
- Visit the website.
You start by using the ICP website of the UAE visa system. You can visit a typing or customer service center in the UAE to request a visa.
You can search for ‘Issuing Residency Visa’ on the ICP website using the search bar. Find ‘Entry Permits’ on the GDRAFD website, then click on ‘Entry Permit Services’, and choose the ‘New Entry Permit for Green Residence’ option.
Step 2: Open the app.
Next, you have to choose the right green visa from the choices on GDRFAD.
- Giving permission for a person to live in the Green Residence as a partner.
- Allowing investors to live in the country.
- Giving permission for skilled workers to live in an environmentally friendly home.
- Giving permission to live in an environmentally-friendly home (working for oneself)
- You must choose the correct visa on the ICP website. After you decide on the visa you want, you can click on ‘Start Services’ to start the application process. Please log in to your GDRFAD website or use your UAE pass to apply on the ICP website.
Step 3: Fill out the form.
After you sign in, you will see a new page. On that page, you will need to pick the type of visa and start filling out the form. First, you have to provide your name, Emirates ID number, where you live, passport details, and other important information.
Step 4: Add the files.
The papers you have to give will be different depending on the kind of visa you have. Please make sure you are inputting the correct documents.
You can send in any documents you forgot to send, or do it within 30 days after you’re asked to. If you don’t submit it, your visa application might be canceled.
Step 5: Give money to pay for the visa.
