How to Get Death Certificate Online Dubai

Doctors in all hospitals in Dubai and Hatta can now use a platform to complete their details and get electronic certificates. These certificates can be printed at customer service centres in four government hospitals – Rashid, Dubai, Latifa, or Hatta. The papers will also be at Medical Fitness Centres in Jumeirah Lake Towers and Uptown Mirdif, a person from the service told Gulf News. The new online platform makes it easier to get birth and death certificates, which used to only be available at Al Baraha Hospital of the Ministry of Health. More than 100 doctors have learned how to use the new electronic portal at all the hospitals.

The police didn’t need to be involved, and no special permission was required to get a birth certificate. However, the hospital where the baby was born had to tell Al Baraha Hospital before the birth certificate could be given. With Al Hamd’s paperless, electronic system, residents can get digital notifications. They can choose from six places to collect the certificate, which costs Dh70. This was announced by the spokesperson.

How Al Hamd will work

  1. When someone from Dubai or Hatta dies, a doctor at the hospital will go to the Al Hamd website and fill out a form to tell the police all the information about the person’s death.
  2. The police will receive a notification about the death. They will investigate the cause of death and other details. Then, they will electronically issue a No Objection certificate, which will be uploaded on the DHA portal.
  3. The hospital will fill out the birth details on the Al Hamd Portal and parents can ask for the birth certificate when needed.
  4. If a visitor passes away and their family wants to bury them here, or if a resident needs to be sent back to their home country, there are extra steps that the family will be told about at the customer service center.

No need of legal translation now

Humaid Al Qutami, the head of DHA, said they want to use the newest technology to help customers better. It was also always making its services automatic, like what we are seeing in Dubai’s smart changes. Al Qutami said that the certificate will be online and can be in English or Arabic. This will save money on translations and make it easier for residents. Humaid Al Qutami, the head of DHA, said they want to use the newest technology to help customers better.
