Skyview Hotels in UAE
Dubai will have over 135,000 hotel rooms soon. It might be hard to find the right one for you. There are many places to stay, from fancy tall buildings to traditional desert resorts. We have chosen 36 Dubai hotels that we like for all different budgets, ages, and types of travelers. Here are the top places to sleep while you explore all of Dubai’s exciting and cultural activities.
1. Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf at Madinat Jumeirah
That there is still a spot on Dubai’s 99-acre Madinat Jumeirah estate that feels undiscovered comes as a genuine surprise, given that the resort, an Arabesque fantasy of four hotels on 1.25 miles of private beachfront overlooking the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024.
The bed in the main bedroom is high and has nice things on it. Once you climb in, like a princess, you won’t want to get out of bed to go to breakfast. A group of butlers are available on WhatsApp all the time. They can make great cocktails or serve beautiful treats for afternoon tea.
2. The St Regis Dubai, The Palm
This hotel is on the trunk of Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah and brings New York-style luxury to the area. It’s in one of the best neighborhoods in Dubai. The hotel is on the first 18 floors of a 52-floor building. It shares the building with a new attraction called Aura SkyPool Lounge and The View Dubai. The hotel has 290 rooms and suites that come in three different categories. They all have giant windows that let you see The Palm’s fronds and the city skyline. The hotel is a mix of local influences and New York-style glamour.
3. One&Only One Za’abeel
Spread across three levels, and you can experience beauty and health treatments as well as assessments to find ways to improve your body’s ability to resist aging. On the fourth floor of The Garden, some pools are inspired by Bali. They look like rice paddies and are for families to swim in, and there’s a bar where you can swim up to order drinks. The garden looks really nice, with pretty water features and tropical plants to keep the pool area cool, and lifeguards are always there.
4. The Lana, Dorchester Collection
The Lana is the first hotel by the Dorchester Collection in the Middle East, and people are really looking forward to it. This new small hotel with 225 rooms in Downtown Dubai is not flashy, and it shows that Dubai can compete with other big cities where the Dorchester Collection also has hotels.

However, what really makes The Lana stand out is the small details: the 100% goose-down duvets, Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, and heated toilet seats. Frette makes bedsheets and mattresses from Vispring, Buckingham Palace’s favorite supplier.
5. Atlantis the Royal
Any retreat that claims to be the most luxurious resort in the world is not trying to be subtle – but that’s the whole idea here. Next to Atlantis, the Palm in Dubai is another hotel called Atlantis the Royal. It has 795 rooms, suites, penthouses, 17 restaurants and bars, a 1. 2-mile beach, and more than 90 pools.
In the rooms, the atmosphere is peaceful, with calming colors and simple decorations that make the views even more beautiful, especially from the balconies facing the Palm. The suites and penthouses make the experience even better with outdoor gardens and pools with glass walls.
6. Bab Al Shams, A Rare Finds Desert Resort
Since 2004, people have loved this desert resort because it has fun things for families, beautiful gardens, and architecture from Arabia. Bab Al Shams has recently reopened after a big renovation and now looks better. It is brighter and more beautiful than ever. The old dark furniture and fabrics have been replaced with a new design that uses lighter colors and a more modern style while keeping its Arabian influence.
As you ride through the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, you will probably see groups of rare Arabian oryxes and roaming sand gazelles. Don’t expect a huge desert with tall dunes nearby; you have to go 300 kilometers inland to find it. But this is a great option if you want a taste of desert adventure close to downtown Dubai.
7. Jumeirah Al Qasr
I didn’t expect to like Jumeirah Al Qasr as much as I did. This fancy palace in Jumeirah is very different from the simpler style that I usually prefer. It’s made of marble and gold and is in the middle of a bunch of hotels on the beach. A few hours after I got there, I already really liked the fancy and beautiful Arabian style of the place. By the next morning, I felt like I was a true ruler.
The balcony has a good view of the city with tan wind catchers, palm trees, and pools. You can see Dubai’s tall and shiny buildings far away. At first, Al Qasr may seem like a place similar to Disney in the desert, but if you stay for a few days, you will see that its great hospitality is real.
9. One & Only Royal Mirage
In a time when fancy hotels are saving money by cutting small things they don’t think guests will notice, One & Only Royal Mirage stays consistent. Simple amenities like fresh flowers in the room, poolside iced fruit, and sunglass cleaning service make you feel pampered and happy. Step into the fancy lobby (with a nice sound from a gong), where the helpful staff understand what you need without bothering you.
Not surprisingly, golf carts are the popular way to get around, helping guests in fancy clothes to avoid walking to the eight restaurants. Two of the restaurants are run by a famous chef named Mauro Colagreco. In Dubai, One&Only Royal Mirage is the best among all the fancy hotels.
10. The St. Regis Downtown, Dubai
Regis Dubai offers a luxurious and elegant experience for guests. With stunning views and exceptional service, it is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy all Dubai offers. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, The St. Regis Dubai will exceed your expectations. Regis Downtown is like its sister hotel in New York, offering the best of the city’s financial district. The famous landmarks, like the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa, are easy to reach. The inside is decorated in a classic Middle Eastern style. The rooms are big and have windows that let you see the Dubai Water Canal or Burj Khalifa. You also get the St. Regis Butler service with your room.
